Careers

A Student's View

‘The team at the North School who help the students with careers are very well informed.  They have one to one meetings with students right through the school about their options regarding post 16 as well as university and jobs after sixth form.  We have had opportunities to go on various trips to help us make our choices in both specialist subjects and in general.   They are dedicated to helping the students with their futures.’  (Chloe, year 13)

Careers Guidance

The North School has a fully qualified career guidance professional, Ms Lamberton.  Her role is to oversee the careers programme within the school, to engage local employers and training providers. This provides students with access so they are up to date with local and national labour market information so students can manage their careers.  Ms Lamberton is available to give one to one guidance, interviews with students and parent/carers and can be contacted by email at [email protected].
