Mabledon Community

“I was really nervous when I first started here, but my tutor and the PSM’s really helped me to feel comfortable at the school.” - Year 7 student

About the Mabledon Community

The ethos of the Mabledon Community is to develop the qualities of resilience, respect and resourcefulness which in turn will positively impact student achievement. There is a strong sense of teamwork amongst the students in the community and this is often displayed in the inter-community competitions, whether they are sporting, cooking or in the performing arts.  Students regularly celebrate others successes which further support the school ethos of “aspire, achieve and celebrate”.  We aim for all students to be happy with every aspect of school life and to enable all to reach their potential.

From the last months of primary school through to post 16 choices we believe that a successful education is very much supported by the three-way partnership of students, parents and the school staff. The Mabledon team ensure that all the needs of the students are met and developed whether it is academic support through learning leaders, emotional support through the pastoral support managers or the team of expert tutors.
